Deadline for applying to the ‘Pakyunok shkolyara’ — 5000 UAH

The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) in Vinnytsia region reminded that the “Pakyunok shkolyara” programme is ongoing in Ukraine — a one‑off cash allowance of 5000 UAH for families whose children are enrolled in first grade this year.

Deadline: documents are accepted until 1 November 2026 inclusive.

Who receives the payment and who can submit an application

The benefit can be applied for by one of the parents or the child’s legal representative. A legal representative could be, for example, a guardian or someone who has the legal right to represent the child.

If a family has two first‑grade pupils, a payment will be made separately for each child.

How to submit an application

You can submit an application online via the Diia app or offline at a service centre of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).

The payment is issued as a cashless allowance to pay for goods necessary for a first‑grader’s education.

What the 5000 UAH can be spent on and who else can receive the allowance

The funds may be used for cashless payment of goods: school and stationery supplies, clothing, footwear and other items foreseen by the programme.

Foreign nationals, stateless persons, refugees and people needing additional protection can receive the “Pakyunok shkolyara” if they have entered Ukraine lawfully and are legally resident here together with the child.
