According to Ford, the company is recalling 102 159 F‑Series pickups from the 2025–2026 model years due to a faulty instrument cluster module. Owners will be notified of the recall from 26 October.
Models included in the recall
The campaign covers select examples of the Ford F‑250, F‑350, F‑450, F‑550 and F‑600 Super Duty for the 2025 and 2026 model years, as well as the F‑150 and F‑750 Super Duty for 2026. The issue does not affect all vehicles of these models, only those that received instrument clusters from a specific supplier batch.

The bulk of the recall involves heavy Super Duty pickups and the F‑600 — 91 588 vehicles, with a further 10 570 cases relating to the 2026 F‑150 model year. In total 102 159 vehicles are listed in the recall.
Cause of the fault and instrument behaviour
The fault has been traced to the module that supplies data to the analogue needle gauges for the speedometer and tachometer. Due to the failure, the needles may freeze, move erratically, or display incorrect vehicle speed and engine revolutions per minute (rpm).

A faulty speedometer makes it harder to judge speed and could lead to unintentionally exceeding limits, while tachometer issues may prevent timely recognition of the engine operating outside its normal range. Ford has not reported any crashes or injuries related to this defect.
Repair, parts delivery schedule and checks
Dealers will replace the affected instrument cluster modules free of charge; a remote software update will not resolve the issue because it is hardware related. replacement parts are expected to reach dealers between 7 and 11 December, and the repair will be free of charge.
Owners can check whether their vehicle is subject to the recall by entering its VIN on Ford’s website or in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) database using campaign number 26V653.
