Editorial policy

This document sets out the principles by which the editorial team prepares financial coverage and constitutes a commitment to our readers.

Accuracy

We publish information verified by an official document, an institution’s reports or at least two independent sources. If data come from a single source, the text includes an explicit note to that effect.

We present figures, rates and exchange rates with the date to which they are current.

Separating news and opinion

News contains facts; columns and analysis present the author’s assessment. These formats are not mixed, and authored pieces are signed with the author’s name.

Market forecasts are accompanied by an explanation of the assumptions on which they are based.

Financial recommendations

The editorial team does not provide individual investment advice and does not guarantee the profitability of any product. Reviews and rankings show conditions as of the publication date and do not replace checking the institution’s website.

Authors do not write about companies for which they work or in which they have a financial interest. If a conflict cannot be avoided, the relationship is disclosed in the text.

Corrections

We correct errors as soon as they are confirmed, and we state at the foot of the article what was changed. Deleting a publication without explanation is unacceptable to us.
