Closed joint‑stock company 'Vest Finance and Credit Bank' (short name CJSC 'Kreditvest Bank') was registered by the National Bank of Ukraine in October 2006.
On 27 January 2009 the bank was reorganised into Open Joint Stock Company "West Finance and Credit Bank". On 11 January 2011 the type and name of Open Joint Stock Company "West Finance and Credit Bank" were changed in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs to Public Joint Stock Company "West Finance and Credit Bank" (short name PJSC "Creditwest Bank") (Joint Stock Company West Finance and Credit Bank).
