The bank was founded in 12.08.2008.

The main task of AT «EPB» is to implement a balanced credit and deposit policy and avoid risky operations in order to ensure the bank's financial stability and preserve clients' guaranteed savings. The bank directs all resources to the development of banking products and modern technologies to move closer to European standards of customer service.

The bank provides a wide range of modern banking services to corporate clients and individuals, including international settlements and foreign exchange operations.

On 14 May 2026 the Rating Committee of RA "Standard Rating" (Ukraine) decided to assign to Joint Stock Company "European Industrial Bank" (EDRPOU code 36061927) a long-term credit rating on the national scale at the level uaAAA, which confirms the exceptional (highest) level, reliability and stability of the bank.
A bank (borrower) or a separate debt instrument with a uaAAA rating is characterised by the highest creditworthiness compared to other Ukrainian banks (borrowers) or debt instruments.

Founders of the bank, beneficiaries (owners): shareholders according to the register of securities holders, Orlova Olha Oleksandrivna, Orlov Volodymyr Oleksandrovych.

• Orlov Volodymyr Oleksandrovych - 27,06%
• Orlova Nataliia Viktorivna - 21,88%

4 December 2018 JSC European Industrial Bank was accepted into the "Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine" as a member.
16 May 2019 JSC European Industrial Bank was admitted as a member of the Association of Ukrainian Banks.

In March 2025 European Industrial Bank was recognised as the winner in 4 leading categories of the Association of Ukrainian Banks' Main Financial Award of the Year: "Most Dynamic Asset Growth", "Customer Trust", "Best Partner of the State", "Bank That Is Trusted".

In 2024 the bank was named winner in the "Bank with the Highest Level of Customer Orientation" category of the XVI All-Ukrainian "Bank of the Year – 2024" competition by the International Financial Club "Bankir".
