Idea Bank

JSC "Idea Bank" (Idea Bank) – a leading Ukrainian bank with a high stability and financial soundness index. Idea Bank has one of the longest histories of stable operation on the Ukrainian banking market. It has been operating in Ukraine for 37 years. The bank was founded in 1989. From its establishment the bank was registered as "Prykarpatlisbank" – a commercial development bank for the forestry and woodworking industry of Prykarpattia. In June 2007 a new name was approved – OJSC "Plus Bank", and in October 2011 it was renamed PJSC "Idea Bank". In October 2018 the name was changed to JSC "Idea Bank".

In 2025 Alkemi Limited (Cyprus), which is part of the Ukrainian business group TAS, acquired 100% of the bank's shares from Polish Getin Holding. Since then JSC 'Idea Bank' has been part of the TAS Group.

Owner, founder, beneficial owner: Tihipko Serhii Leonidovych.

Key shareholder of the bank: Alkemi Limited (Cyprus) — 100%.

The authorised capital of Idea Bank as of 2026 is 323 072 875,00 UAH. This capital consists of authorised shares owned by the bank's shareholders.

JSC 'Idea Bank' has been included by the NBU in the list of systemically important banks of Ukraine. The bank specialises in a wide range of services for the public, as well as lending to small businesses.

As of the beginning of July 2026 the bank's capital – 2,75 billion UAH, net profit – 0,230 billion UAH, net assets – 12,31 billion UAH, loan portfolio – 9,1 billion UAH, retail deposits – 5,72 billion UAH.

Idea Bank is a reliable bank, one of the most stable and successful in the industry, for which fulfilling obligations to clients and partners is an absolute priority.

Idea Bank is one of the banks that has been most actively developing according to indicators such as the size of net assets, loan portfolio and customer funds raised. In recent years, despite the challenges of economic crises, the bank holds leading positions in the market for retail cash lending.

Idea Bank is a participant of the Deposit Guarantee Fund for individuals (certificate No. 055 dated 20.08.2025).

In 2026 the bank won in two nominations of the nationwide FinAwards2026: recognised as the best in the categories 'Best deposit' and 'Best cash loan'.

Idea Bank also became the bronze prize-winner of FinAwards2026 in the category "Best bank for sole proprietors".

In 2024 the bank received a FinAwards award in the category "Express Leader: speed and efficiency of lending".
