Megabank

The history of Megabank begins in June 1990, when the State Bank of the USSR registered the Kharkiv commercial bank "Dobrodiy". In 1995 the bank "Dobrodiy" changed its name to Joint Stock Commercial Bank "Megabank".

Since 1998 Megabank has been building an effective retail network in Ukraine. Megabank constantly develops, expands the range of banking services and products, and actively cooperates with individuals and legal entities. Today Megabank is one of the most stable and reliable banks in Ukraine.

For payment of utilities and acceptance of other types of payments Megabank created its own network of electronic self-service terminals (m-box). The bank continuously expands the capabilities and geography of m-box, and also improves the appearance of the areas where they are located.

The shareholders of Megabank are Subotin V.H. – direct and indirect participation 65,54% of the charter capital; European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) – 13,22% of the charter capital; German development bank KfW – 13,22% of the charter capital; International Finance Corporation (IFC) – 5,30% of the charter capital.

The Bank is a principal member of the international payment systems VISA and Mastercard. The Bank is a member of the National Payment System PROSTIR (National Payment System 'Ukrainian Payment Space').
Awards and prizes:

• JSC «Megabank» was among the winners of the international ranking «Global Banking & Finance Awards® – 2020» in the «Digital Banking Awards» category.
• In 2020, the rating agency "Expert-Rating" decided to update the long-term credit rating of JSC "Megabank" at the uaAA level.
