The bank was established on the basis of the decision of the founders' Constituent Assembly dated 25 May 2005 under the name Closed Joint-Stock Company "Joint-Stock Commercial Bank 'Concord'" and was registered by the National Bank of Ukraine on 7 August 2006 under No.308
ConcordBank became the first among non-state banks to launch internet acquiring ConcordPay with options from Apple Pay and Google Pay, which allowed leaders of the Ukrainian online business to increase the conversion of their marketplaces. The bank was the first in Ukraine to launch a mobile version of Bank ID using QR-code technology, and was also among the first in Europe to connect to 3ds v2.1 for Mastercard issuance. ConcordBank became bank No. 1 for currency disbursement on international cards and cards of foreign banks (over 1 million dollars per month). It was the first bank in Ukraine to launch separate bots for card issuance in 30 seconds in Viber and Telegram without visiting the bank. In 2020 ConcordBank became the platform for creating the first open fintech ecosystem in Ukraine, Concord Fintech Solutions.
