OTP Bank (JSC OTP Bank) has been present on the Ukrainian market since 1998.
In 02 March 1998 AKB "Raiffeisenbank Ukraine" was founded as a bank with 100% foreign capital. In 2001 the bank entered the top 10 largest banks of Ukraine. In 2006 OTP Bank Plc. acquired AKB "Raiffeisenbank Ukraine". After the acquisition procedure was completed in November 2006 OTP Bank Plc. became the 100% owner of "Raiffeisenbank Ukraine", which was accordingly renamed OTP Bank (JSC "OTP Bank").
OTP Bank is a bank with 100% foreign capital and belongs to the European financial group OTP Group (Hungary).
According to the list published by the NBU in June 2026, OTP Bank is classified as a systemically important bank.
Founders of the bank, major shareholders, beneficiaries (owners): OJSC OTP Bank (OTP Bank Plc., Hungary).
Authorized capital of JSC 'OTP Bank' as of 2026: 6 186 023 111,00 UAH.
