Joint Stock Company "Pravex Bank" was founded in 1992.
At the end of June 2008 the deal to sell 100% of the bank's shares to one of Europe's leading banking groups – the Italian group Intesa Sanpaolo, which is a leader in Italy in all areas of business (retail, corporate and asset management) and is present worldwide – was completed.
The owner of the bank is a single shareholder - Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A (99.9111%).
