RVS Bank

The Board of the National Bank of Ukraine on 4 November 2025 decided to classify JSC 'RWS Bank' as insolvent. RWS Bank (Joint Stock Company RWS Bank) - a Ukrainian bank whose history began in October 1991 with the creation of the bank AKIB 'Intellect'. Later the bank changed its name to AKB 'Kyiv-Privat'. In 2001 the bank joined the French financial conglomerate 'Societe Generale', after which the bank was named AKB 'Societe Generale Ukraine'. In 2007 the bank changed owners and was renamed CJSC 'TAS-Investbank', and in October became AKB 'TAS-Kommercbank'. In the same year, in December, the bank was headed by a new foreign investor from the 'Swedbank Group' of companies. The bank's name changed to CJSC 'Swedbank Invest', and in 2009 the form of ownership and name changed to PJSC 'Swedbank' ('Swedbank'). In 2013 the Swedish group 'Swedbank' announced its decision to exit the financial services market in Ukraine. In the same year the bank was acquired by a Ukrainian investor (Lahun Mykola Ivanovych), and the bank's name changed to 'Omega Bank'. In June 2015 the bank received a new investor and the name 'RwS bank'. Founder, shareholder, beneficiary (owner): Stetsyuk Oleksandr Volodymyrovych - 99% Authorized capital of JSC 'RWS Bank' as of the beginning of 2025: 300 039 052,50 UAH. RWS Bank is a participant of: Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals (Certificate No.230 dated 07.12.2016)
