About bank

Credit Europe Bank (Joint-Stock Company "Credit Europe bank") obtained a banking licence in Ukraine on 28 December 2006, and officially began its operations under the new name on 6 June 2007. The general meeting of shareholders on 4 January 2007 decided to increase the paid part of the bank's share capital to 329,088,311 UAH (over 50 million USD).

In its work the bank primarily focuses on global quality standards in serving corporate clients, as well as on the long-standing international experience of the Fiba financial group.

PJSC Credit Europe Bank is owned by Credit Europe Bank (Netherlands) and Credit Europe Group N.V. (CEG). CEG is part of the international financial group FIBA Group, one of the largest diversified financial conglomerates. The group provides various financial services, including banking services to corporate and private clients in 12 countries of Eastern and Western Europe and the Middle East. In addition, the group makes significant investments in a retail store network and the real estate market.

The change of name to Credit Europe Bank is related to the sale by FIBA International Holding of the controlling stake in Finansbank (Turkey) to the National Bank of Greece. As a result, the latter obtained all rights to use the name of the international brand Finansbank. Thus, all international banking institutions of FIBA International Holding were renamed Credit Europe Bank. On 4 October 2007 FIH was renamed Credit Europe Group N.V.

On 27 June 2025, Credit Europe Bank officially changed its name to Joint Stock Company «Nexent Bank» (Joint stock company Nexent Bank).
