Education: holds a Bachelor's degree from Claremont McKenna College, California, USA (1986-1990), studying a double major in Economics and Political Science. During 1993-1994 Ivan Svitek obtained an MBA from INSEAD Business School, France, in the Master of Business Administration programme, specialising in Finance. In 15.10.2019 ABHH completed the process of consolidating assets in Ukraine, resulting in the merger of Alfa-Bank Ukraine and Ukrsotsbank. As a result of the merger, based on Alfa-Bank Ukraine, the largest private bank in the country will be created, which will lead to increased levels of technology and efficiency, improved service quality for customers, as well as reduced service costs and an expanded range of services.
Alfa-Bank Ukraine became the full successor to all rights and obligations of Ukrsotsbank with respect to its clients, partners and counterparties. The transfer act was approved on 15 October 2019 by the decision of the general meeting of shareholders of Alfa-Bank Ukraine and by the decision of the sole shareholder of Ukrsotsbank. All legal procedures related to the merger and termination of Ukrsotsbank's activities will be completed by the end of 2019.
