Cost of 100 litres and share of net salary
Comparison of the cost of 100 litres of petrol, the share of net salary this represents, and the volume of petrol affordable on one net salary:
| Country | Cost of 100 litres | Share of net salary | Litres per one net salary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ukraine | 9,000 hryvnia | 36.7 % | ~ 272 l |
| Turkey | 7,980 lira | 15.7 % | ~ 636 l |
| Poland | 610 zloty | 10.0 % | ~ 1,000 l |
| Czechia | 3,950 koruna | 10.8 % | ~ 924 l |
| France | 182 euro | 7.3 % | ~ 1,370 l |
| Germany | 180 euro | 6.7 % | ~ 1,500 l |
If one roughly calculates the cost of 100 litres of petrol per month (about two full tanks for an average car): for a Ukrainian motorist buying two tanks a month already takes more than a third of the monthly income, whereas in France or Germany the same expense is only around 7% of the monthly budget.
