Expert comment

“It’s interesting to observe such a trend toward cold-weather holidays this winter, with travellers swapping sun loungers for snow boots,” said Aarushi Kumar, deputy director of research and analytics at Tripadvisor Group.

According to the expert, interest in Arctic reserves, Alpine villages and towns with markets reflects a shift in travellers’ preferences for the winter season.
