The American company SyberJet unveiled a full-scale mock-up of the light private jet SJ36, the company announced on its website.

Speed, range and ceiling
The developers position the SJ36 as “the fastest light jet with the greatest range ever built in this class.” The stated maximum speed — 0.88 Mach (about 1,000 km/h), range — 3000 nautical miles (5556 km), service ceiling — 49,000 feet (about 14,935 m).
According to the company, the SJ36 can perform non-stop flights on routes unavailable to other aircraft in this class, including Los Angeles — Hawaii and Teterboro Airport (New Jersey) — Los Angeles. Compared with other light jets, the SJ36 can cut the duration of transcontinental flights by two hours in each direction.

Cabin and charter cost
The cabin is configured for a maximum of eight passengers. The pressurisation system maintains cabin pressure equivalent to sea level at altitudes up to 41,000 feet (about 12,500 metres).
The company says charter flights on the SJ36 could be up to 50% cheaper than on mid-size aircraft. SyberJet also notes that the model retains the operating economy typical of light jets.
SyberVision avionics and remote services
The SJ36 is fitted with the SyberVision avionics platform: a fully digital flight deck, secure wireless software updates and smartphone connectivity. Owners will be able to adjust the cabin climate remotely.
The company plans to monitor aircraft condition and provide technical support remotely. Combined with an auxiliary power unit with zero emissions, these features, the developers say, are intended to deliver a new level of comfort for business aviation.
