According to the press service of the Main Service Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVS), the list of administrative services that can be paid online at service centres has been expanded across Ukraine.
Services available for online payment and how the system works
Via the “Payment Hub” you can pay online for vehicle registration actions and a number of other administrative services of the MVS service centres. After the transaction the administrator immediately sees confirmation in the database, so a paper receipt is not required.

As of 20 October the system processed over 440,000 requests totalling almost 360 million UAH. The expansion is intended to allow payment for a greater number of services without visits to pay on site.
Cost of tests and issuing a driving licence
Taking the theory test at any MVS service centre costs 250 UAH. To sit the test you must have a passport, a copy of your identification code (tax ID) and a medical certificate confirming fitness to drive; the result is valid for one year from the date of successful completion.

If you fail an exam (theory or practical) on your first attempt, each subsequent attempt must be paid for separately. The first driving licence is issued for two years and costs approximately 650 UAH: the physical document — 420 UAH, the service — 230 UAH; users can also request delivery of documents via postal operators.
