Ranking of European Cities for Solo Travel: Cheapest and Most Expensive

The company Radical Storage compiled a ranking of 48 European cities for solo travellers. The assessment used 11 criteria, including the cost of accommodation, food and transport, safety levels and the number of hostels.

Prague took first place: a day of travel there — including accommodation, food, local transport and entertainment — costs on average €134,33, and the city has one of the highest safety scores among the cities in the ranking. In second place is Kraków, where average daily expenses are around €87. Third place went to Istanbul; it has the cheapest hostel dorm-bed price in the ranking.
