Bank KD becomes a partner of the Nationwide Financial Literacy Test

From 30 October to 06 November the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) is running a nationwide financial literacy test.

Test format and access

The test consists of 20 practical financial cases covering budget planning, saving, use of financial services and protection against payment fraud. It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and the questions are mainly aimed at those with experience using financial services.

You can take the test free of charge on the financial literacy educational website «Harazd‘. After finishing, participants will receive their results and a selection of educational materials to deepen their knowledge.

Aim of the initiative and the head’s view

The aim of the test is to help citizens assess their own financial knowledge, identify areas for improvement and make financial decisions with greater confidence. The initiative is being held for the third time and is timed to World Savings Day.

“Each year more Ukrainians take part in the test, and this is a convincing marker of the maturity and responsibility of our society. We can see financial culture becoming a conscious choice. Ukrainians understand that knowledge in the field of finance affects well‑being and financial security. The test is not an exam; it provides a practical tool for self‑development, allowing people to try their knowledge without risk so they feel more confident and protected in real life,” — said Andriy Pyshnyi.

Partners’ involvement and statistics from previous years

The test was launched in 2024 to mark the 100th anniversary of World Savings Day. In the first year about 52,000 participants took part, and in 2025 more than 60,000 people participated.

This year more than 80 partners from state and financial institutions, youth and civic organisations, and business companies have joined the initiative. Bank KD has also joined the initiative as a partner.
