Ukraine's international reserves as of 1 October 2026 stood at $47 101,8 million and decreased by 3,2% in September due to NBU interventions and debt payments.

Ukraine's international reserves on 01 October 2026 were $47 101,8 mln and decreased by 3,2% in September due to NBU operations, conversion of an EU tranche and debt payments.
UAH deposits and OVDP — changes in September
In September term deposits increased by 3,2 billion UAH, and the portfolio of hryvnia OVDP rose by 2,6 billion UAH. Yields are reacting to the NBU's rate hike, but not all banks have raised rates.
Policy rate 16% — what will happen to deposits, loans and the exchange rate
The increase of the key rate from 15,5% to 16% per annum is preventive in nature and may support the profitability of hryvnia deposits. Business loans are unlikely to surge thanks to partner and state programmes.

The loan amount secured by a car is determined individually. Maximum amount up to 1 000 000 UAH, term up to 48 months, actual annual percentage rate up to 238,5%. The exact amount will be provided after the car's appraisal.
Ukrainians' deposits grew to 504,2 billion UAH — who benefited most
Over the eight months of 2026, household term deposits rose by 37,3 billion UAH to 504,2 billion UAH. Almost all the increase was in UAH, and most went to PrivatBank, Oschadbank and monobank.
