How much the state budget received for September and the first 9 months
In September the general fund received 195,9 billion UAH; from January to September the general fund received 2,49 trillion UAH; in total, including the special fund, 4,12 trillion UAH. Details of receipts, borrowings and payments are in the table.
NBU rate 16% will affect deposits, loans and the hryvnia exchange rate
The increase of the NBU key rate from 15,5% to 16% per annum is of a preventive nature. It may intensify competition for deposits, support the return on savings and does not necessarily make business loans more expensive.
Dollar and euro rate forecast for the first ten days of October
Banker Taras Lesovyi forecasts the rate for the first ten days of October. Dollar 44,7−45,1 UAH, euro 50,5−52 UAH. Stability is supported by NBU interventions and the policy rate of 16%.

Euro falls and the dollar in Ukraine exceeded 45 UAH
The euro fell to $1,1161, which is the lowest since May 2025. At the opening of the interbank market the dollar cost 45,08−45,13 UAH/$, which put it into the zone of the previous historical maximum.
Bank bonuses raised to 200% of the fixed part
The NBU raised the cap on variable remuneration for executives and influential persons to 200% of the fixed component. Resolution No. 114 came into force on 29 September 2026 and requires additional voting procedures and informing the NBU.
