Between March and September 2026 the share of Ukrainians who regularly support charitable foundations decreased, while the share of those unwilling to donate increased.
Decline in the share of active donors at specific funds
The share of active donors to the fund «Povernys' zhyvym» fell from 18% in March to 14% in September. For BF Serhii Prytula this figure decreased from 15% to 13%, for BF «Spilnota Sternenka» from 14% to 13%, and on the United24 platform from 10% to 8%.

The share of those willing to support charitable organisations in the near future also declined; potential donors are people who are ready to join in the near term. On the United24 platform the drop was 10 percentage points from May to 21%.
Reduction in the pool of potential donors at several organisations
At «Dobrobat» the share of potential donors fell to 25% — a decrease of 11 percentage points compared with the April peak of 36% and of 8 points compared with May. At KSE Foundation the figure dropped from 28% in May to 20% in September, and at the fund «Povernys' zhyvym» from 36% to 30%.

At the charitable organisation «Caritas» willingness to help fell by 6 percentage points from March to 28%. Overall, the results of the September wave indicate a reduction in the number of active and potential donors across a number of large funds.
Increase in the share of those unwilling to support funds
The share of respondents unwilling to support charitable funds increased at several organisations. At BF Serhii Prytula the share of such respondents rose from 43% in spring to 51% in September; at the fund «Povernys' zhyvym» from 18% in March to 27,5% in September; on the United24 platform from 28% to 36,5%.
At the Ukrainian Red Cross Society the share unwilling to provide support rose from 35% to 41%. The exception was BF «Fond Poroshenka», where the figures remained unchanged: 4,5% help, 14,5% are willing to join, 57% are not willing to help.
