According to Grc.ua, the survey showed that automotive companies continue to operate at full capacity, but no company reported an increase in revenues. At the same time, personnel policies have become more conservative due to employers’ limited financial resources.
Companies are operating at full capacity but not expanding headcount
All surveyed companies are maintaining operational and service processes at full capacity, yet have not registered any increase in revenues. Businesses are hiring staff only to replace those who have left, rather than to expand their teams.

During 2025 companies renewed no more than 10% of their teams. Businesses are focused on preserving their existing headcount rather than increasing it.
Gap in salary expectations is hindering recruitment
All employers surveyed cited the discrepancy between candidates’ salary expectations and companies’ capabilities as an obstacle to hiring. 67% of employees are not prepared to lower their financial demands even amid high competition in the labour market.

Employers increased salaries by 11−20%, but only 4 out of 9 employees felt a real increase in income. 78% of professionals are already looking for, or plan to look for, another job soon, and 6 out of 10 report they have so far been unable to find a vacancy with decent pay.
Grc.ua’s CEO Marina Makoviy says the automotive sector shows resilience in difficult economic conditions, but the issue of wage parity remains acute. According to her, employers have limited scope to further increase salaries, while employees are unwilling to compromise their expectations because of inflation.
She also names possible solutions: non-financial motivation, optimisation of internal processes and an open dialogue with teams. The article notes that via the Finance.ua portal it is possible to obtain a quick payday loan.
